Johnny Depp is easily one of the most talented, diverse and humorous actors of our time and when it comes to Tim Burton you just never know what bizarre movie to expect next.

This gothic-horror film is due to hit theaters on May 11, 2012. It also stars Michelle Pfeiffer and Eva Green. Johnny Deep plays the role of a vampire known as Barnabas Collins and the movie itself is based on the original TV series.

A jealous witch known as Angelique Bouchard who is played by Eva Green traps Barnabas Collins in a coffin and places a curse which turns him into a vampire all because he didn’t fall in love with her. Centuries later Collins the vampire is brought back to the living in the 1970′s and tries to cope and adjust to his new found surroundings. He awakes to find his once rich and powerful lifestyle is no more and that his fortune and estate known as the Collinwood Manor is no longer what it used to be. Before he can get too comfortable the witch who locked him away and left him buried underground ends up returning and that’s where things really begin to take an even more twisted turn of events.

The wardrobe, acting, settings and storyline all appear to be very well executed in this upcoming film. I’m sure it’s not far fetched to say we can look forward to yet another wild, bizarre, twisted and entertaining adventure that we have all come to expect from the brilliant actor known as Johnny Depp.

For most couples giving birth to a newborn child is the most exciting time in their lives and this particular 9 month project is quite moving and enjoyable to watch. You can tell just how happy these new parents are and little does their newborn baby girl Amelie in this video know that she is already famous right at birth all because of having such creative parents.

It’s quite common for parents to document their pregnancy and the early years of their children’s lives, but in this case it’s a more unique and creative approach than most, thus the reason this video has gone viral. This video is now scattered all over the Internet and sure has a lot of people talking which of course really comes as no surprise because it really is amazing. With so much drama and heartbreaking news in the world all the time it’s a pleasant and entertaining treat to watch something positive like this!

I wonder if while making this 9 month pregnancy time lapse video these loving parents ever imagined it would have gained so much popularity so fast? Whether they anticipated instant fame or not they have become overnight viral video sensations! Well technically speaking it took them 9 months of course, but you know what I mean!

In his description for part 2 of Superman vs Hulk Michael explains how it took a total of 8 months to create this masterpiece. Having dabbled in animation a bit myself in the past I can appreciate how much work really is involved. I’m no expert in this field and haven’t used animation software in years but nonetheless I can fully understand that it’s not far fetched for a two and a half minute animation video to take this long to create. There’s a lot more work and skill involved than most people may realize.

If you enjoy this video then you’ll also be excited to know that part 3 is in the works. Although at this point no release date has been mentioned I know I’m looking forward to it! Michael simply states “part 3 is coming soon” but whenever soon means I’m sure it will be well worth the wait! Part 1 of this animated series went viral and has had over 4.5 million views to date, so it would come as no surprise if part 2 and the upcoming part 3 received just as much if not more well deserved exposure!

In today’s featured animation video the high level of detail is really quite impeccable. Various different software programs were used to make it all come together. To create elements such as the hair, clothing, the actual animation & 3D modelling Michael used Maya which is an Autodesk product. For the actual rendering of this 3D video NVIDIA’s Mental Ray was used and I’m sure having a whopping 12 to 24 GB of RAM on 2 different workstations also helped tremendously. Adobe After Effects was used for final composition.

Aside from being one of the most clever ad campaigns I’ve ever seen, an invisible F-Cell Mercedes-Benz sure would make for a great getaway car! Alright, so you can’t go out and purchase an “invisible” model from any local car dealer, but the fact that it can be done is really awe-inspiring you have to admit!

Of course an “invisible car”, although a very cool publicity stunt, isn’t the main topic of discussion here. In order to provide you with a better understanding of what hydrogen F-Cell technology is and how it works, basically it is a vehicle which runs on converted hydrogen that is compressed. This newest F-Cell powered car also gets close to 90 mpg and highly reduces cost for the owner among many other benefits.

Mercedes might make it look easy, but this technology is the result of decades of R&D, testing and innovation. You may not be aware of this but here’s a fun fact, the NECAR which was built and designed by Mercedes as an experiment almost 2 decades ago was the world’s first ever fuel cell vehicle. Daimler now has the world’s largest line of F-Cell powered vehicles in production.

Some even believe her “Goodbye” video is partly a reflection and result of her divorce with Deryck Whibley. Sucks to be him is all I can say! Whatever the case I doubt any of her male fans and followers are complaining about seeing her in lingerie despite however extreme it may seem compared to what fans are accustomed to. Nonetheless it’s quite common to witness popular musicians go through transitions as they age and evolve and it has been quite an eventful year for the 27 year old Canadian singer. With that said, it’s no surprise if some of those events have an impact on her music videos and the songs she writes.

The acting cast lineup includes Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Gwyneth Paltrow, Samuel L. Jackson, Lou Ferrigno (as a voice over) and Chris Hemsworth just to name a few!

If you’re Canadian then mark May 4th, 2012 on your calendar and wipe your schedule clean for this date! For those of you in the UK The Avengers will be in cinemas on April 26th. For us fellow Americans it’s almost worth booking a flight out of the country just to be one of the first people to see this movie before it arrives here in the western part of the globe.

With characters like Iron Man, The Hulk, Thor, Black Widow and Captain America all in one spectacular movie it would be impossible for this film to disappoint especially for long time Marvel comic fans.

Prepare yourself for an epic battle where the Avengers must be collaborate to form an unstoppable team in order to defeat a force that threatens the future and safety of the globe. You can bet this movie will be filled with tons of great action, unexpected twists and plenty of memorable scenes.

For all of my fellow Game of Throne fans out there I hope you enjoyed this teaser trailer as much as I did. In the first season the last episode was quite intense and eventful and it will be interesting to see how things kick off this year. As the story continues to unfold I’m sure we’ll see several more great performances from the likes of Emilia Clarke (the dragon lady), Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Sean Bean, Sophie Turner as well as from the rest of the talented and returning cast.

With season 1 being such a huge hit on HBO it’s no surprise that there is such anticipation and high demand for another season. All of the brilliant minds and actors involved sure have done a fantastic job of turning George Martin’s “A Song of Ice and Fire” series of novels into an epic and suspenseful visual masterpiece. Of course we all know a huge war and battle is brewing but aside from that what are some of your predictions for Game of Thrones season 2? While we’re counting down the days it would be a fun topic to discuss. Who are some of your favorite actors/actresses from the show and what are some of your favorite scenes so far? Whatever the case it’s fair to say there’s no doubt season 2 will be even better than the first!

Now it’s Monday, a new week has begun, it’s back to the grind and the fun is over. As most of you likely already know, the West NBA All-Stars defeated the East with a final score of 152 to 149. It doesn’t get much closer than that, the final score was almost closer than Justin Timberlake & Jessica Biel are together! Although Labron James and Kevin Durant both scored a whopping 36 points each, it was Koby Bryant who stole the show with 27 points and made history on Sunday by surpassing Michael Jordan as the NBA’s all-time leading all-star game scorer. Jordan scored a combined total of 262 points during all-star games in his career while Bryant’s total is now 271.
