Johnny Depp is easily one of the most talented, diverse and humorous actors of our time and when it comes to Tim Burton you just never know what bizarre movie to expect next.

This gothic-horror film is due to hit theaters on May 11, 2012. It also stars Michelle Pfeiffer and Eva Green. Johnny Deep plays the role of a vampire known as Barnabas Collins and the movie itself is based on the original TV series.

A jealous witch known as Angelique Bouchard who is played by Eva Green traps Barnabas Collins in a coffin and places a curse which turns him into a vampire all because he didn’t fall in love with her. Centuries later Collins the vampire is brought back to the living in the 1970′s and tries to cope and adjust to his new found surroundings. He awakes to find his once rich and powerful lifestyle is no more and that his fortune and estate known as the Collinwood Manor is no longer what it used to be. Before he can get too comfortable the witch who locked him away and left him buried underground ends up returning and that’s where things really begin to take an even more twisted turn of events.

The wardrobe, acting, settings and storyline all appear to be very well executed in this upcoming film. I’m sure it’s not far fetched to say we can look forward to yet another wild, bizarre, twisted and entertaining adventure that we have all come to expect from the brilliant actor known as Johnny Depp.

Not only are the special effects absolutely brilliant, captivating and awe inspiring, the storyline as well as cast of actors is nothing to frown upon either. The acting cast lineup includes Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Gwyneth Paltrow, Samuel L. Jackson, Lou Ferrigno (as a voice over) and Chris Hemsworth just to name a few!

If you’re Canadian then mark May 4th, 2012 on your calendar and wipe your schedule clean for this date! For those of you in the UK The Avengers will be in cinemas on April 26th. For us fellow Americans it’s almost worth booking a flight out of the country just to be one of the first people to see this movie before it arrives here in the western part of the globe.

With characters like Iron Man, The Hulk, Thor, Black Widow and Captain America all in one spectacular movie it would be impossible for this film to disappoint especially for long time Marvel comic fans.

Prepare yourself for an epic battle where the Avengers must be collaborate to form an unstoppable team in order to defeat a force that threatens the future and safety of the globe. You can bet this movie will be filled with tons of great action, unexpected twists and plenty of memorable scenes.

Like I even need to ask because who wouldn’t be looking forward to viewing this film, but who here is also anxiously counting down the days to when The Avengers hits theaters? What are your thoughts on this incredibly well executed and action packed HD movie trailer?

A decade after his heroic defeat of the monstrous Kraken, Perseus (Worthington) –the demigod son of Zeus (Neeson)–is attempting to live a quieter life as a village fisherman and the sole parent to his 10-year old son, Helius. Directed by Ridley Scott it’s no surprise the Prometheus trailer had well over 2 million hits on YouTube in it’s first 24 hours. Sound like deja vu? Our recent featured video for the 2nd The Dark Knight Rises trailer also went viral in a matter of hours after its release. So what does this tell us? Well, 2012 is going to be one heck of a blockbuster year when it comes to movies! I already have quite a few titles on my must see movie list with Prometheus of course being no exception.

Prometheus could very well be Ridley Scott’s best directed movie to date and we all know he’s had quite a few good ones. There’s a lot of hype surrounding this movie and for good reason, especially if you are a sci-fi and special effects junkie. Enjoy the trailer below!

This is quite possibly the most anticipated Batman movie of all time so rest assured it will be worth the wait. It will be an epic finale film to an exciting series of Batman movies indeed and I couldn’t think of anyone more suitable to play the role of Batman once again than Oscar winning actor Christian Bale.

Back in 2008 when the first The Dark Knight movie was released it changed the way comic book films were made forever and next years release of The Dark Knight Rises will no doubt raise the bar once again. Just think, if this latest movie trailer has instantly gone viral in just one day alone just imagine when the actual movie hits theaters! As mentioned above this movie is in fact based on a true story. Popular celebrity and actor Chris Evans plays the main role as a drug addicted lawyer who will stop at next to nothing to win this extraordinary and unique case. It really is a fascinating and intense looking David and Goliath type movie which I personally can’t wait to see. I’m not sure what date this movie is scheduled to be released but I’m sure it will be worth the wait. In the meantime enjoy the next best thing for now and watch the newly released HD movie trailer below!
