Whether you missed it or just want to watch it again, here’s the full 13 minute halftime show video for the 2012 NBA All-Star game featuring live performances by Chris Brown, Pitbull and Ne-Yo. With all-star weekend in Orlando and the 2012 Oscars there was no shortage of entertainment and fun-filled excitement this past weekend and I almost forgot I was living in Canada’s cold climate for a short while!

Now it’s Monday, a new week has begun, it’s back to the grind and the fun is over. Then again what am I saying, with YouTube the fun just never ends and it’s like the weekend all week long… well, until your boss catches you slacking and wasting time repeatedly watching videos over and over that is.

2012 NBA All-Star Game Brief Recap

As most of you likely already know, the West NBA All-Stars defeated the East with a final score of 152 to 149. It doesn’t get much closer than that, the final score was almost closer than Justin Timberlake & Jessica Biel are together! Although Labron James and Kevin Durant both scored a whopping 36 points each, it was Koby Bryant who stole the show with 27 points and made history on Sunday by surpassing Michael Jordan as the NBA’s all-time leading all-star game scorer. Jordan scored a combined total of 262 points during all-star games in his career while Bryant’s total is now 271.

It’s the 2012 NBA All-Star weekend in Orlando, Florida and in case you missed it you just have to check out the video for the intro to kick things off on TNT featuring a popular track from Jay-Z & Kanye West. Most of you who are in the loop will recognize this song from the “Watch the Throne” album.

I’ve been a fan of the NBA my entire life and have to say this was by far one of the coolest and most motivating intros I’ve seen in a very long time! It’s sure to pump you up and get the adrenaline flowing no doubt. It’s hard to top a combination of two of the worlds greatest rappers coupled with a bunch of rockin’ and awe inspiring NBA highlights. So much incredible talent joined to create one of the most impressive NBA All-Star weekend openings ever.

This year’s all-star game kicked off with a bang and there was no shortage of exciting highlights in three-point shootout, skills contest sponsored by Taco Bell and the dunk contest either. Plenty of well known celebrities in attendance which of course goes without saying and a fun time had by all. Below is a list of winners for the Saturday events.
