They’d like to take a moment to give all the idiots out there who are currently living in cold and snowy climates to use wise measures in order to prevent ending up in stupid situations.

Even if you’re one of the few out there who isn’t an idiot, it’s likely that you know several idiots yourself. If so please share this video with them and help keep the idiots of the world safe during this winter season!

Many large magazine companies have been feeling the pressure for several years now, and very few have been able to change and adapt to these rapidly changing times. However, rather than giving up, some companies such as Time Inc. are working hard towards finding a solution to their plummeting sales by working with companies such as Wonderfactory as you will see in this tablet demo for Sports Illustrated.

The technology is impressive, nothing groundbreaking or earth shattering or all that revolutionary, but still fun and interactive. The real question is, will people really pay for this, and if so will it be enough to keep certain magazine companies from completely going under? Bottom line is simple, it all depends on the price. If companies resort to asking an outrageous amount in order for customers to own and use one of these tablets, the hype will fade quickly. There of course are many factors involved, will this catch on, only time will tell.

This of course is only a prototype but I’m sure we’ll be hearing much more about this over time. The PUMA can currently reach speeds of up to 35 mph and runs on a lithium-ion battery. GM and Segway are also in the process of perfecting their GPS technology so the vehicle can literally drive itself by using a transponder. Reminds me of the RALPH (Rapidly Adapting Lateral Position Handler) I read about many years ago in Wired magazine. Took long enough to consider putting such technology to use, but hey better late than never right.
